The fact that we live in a globally interconnected world has become a cliche. Scholars, business leaders, and policy makers are increasingly concerned with globalization, yet the study of this phenomenon is still in its infancy. There is little consensus on how to approach the subject of globalization or how our lives will be affected by it.
