This documentary explores the planning, construction, scope and controversial reception of the then newest and most modern art complex in the world, the Georges Pompidou National Center for Art and Culture (The Beaubourg). The camera explores the building and the public that uses it. Arts writer and lecturer Rosamond Bernier examines the forces that shaped the enterpirse and interviews some of the key players and observers.
