Julia Margaret Cameron was a pioneer of photography and one of the great portrait photographers of all time. Her subjects include Tennyson, Darwin, Robert Browning, and Longfellow, but the bulk of her work consists of portraits of women. This book is the catalogue of an exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago that will open September 1998 and then travel to New York and San Francisco in 1999. 75 duotones & 70 color illustrations.
